Dr. D. Y. Patil Law College, Pimpri, Pune, under the aegis of Dr. D. Y. Patil Unitech Society, is pleased to announce the 5th DYPLC National Moot Court Competition, 2026, organized in collaboration with Randive & Randive Associates. The competition will be conducted offline on 28th–29th March 2026.

This national-level event aims to provide law students with a platform to develop advocacy skills, legal research abilities, and courtroom etiquette through simulated court proceedings.

About the Institution

Established in 2001 and affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, Dr. D. Y. Patil Law College is known for its commitment to experiential legal education through moot courts, debates, legal aid, and research initiatives. The parent body, Dr. D. Y. Patil Unitech Society (est. 1990), manages a large educational ecosystem serving over 15,000 students across multiple disciplines.

Registration Details

  • Registration Fee: ₹2,500 per team (non-refundable)
  • Registration confirmation will be provided after verification by the organizers.

Prize Pool – ₹1.25 Lakhs

  • Winning Team: ₹51,000 + Trophy + Certificate
  • Runner-Up: ₹31,000 + Trophy + Certificate
  • Second Runner-Up: ₹21,000 + Trophy + Certificate
  • Best Memorial: ₹11,000 + Trophy + Certificate
  • Best Speaker: ₹11,000 + Trophy + Certificate

Competition Structure

  • Final Round
  • Each team will present oral arguments before a panel of judges, with memorial evaluation and advocacy forming the basis of scoring.
